Need to share your PowerPoint presentation without the recipient needing PowerPoint installed? Converting to PDF is the answer — and here's how to do it perfectly.

Method 1 — Nexus PPT to PDF (Free, Any Device)

Nexus PPT to PDF converts your .pptx file by extracting slides and rendering them — no PowerPoint installation needed. Upload, preview slides, then save as PDF via the print dialog. Free and works on phone or computer.

Method 2 — Direct from PowerPoint (Best Quality)

In PowerPoint: File → Export → Create PDF/XPS. This is the highest quality method as it uses PowerPoint's native rendering. All animations appear as final-state images, transitions are preserved as static layouts.

💡 PowerPoint PDF Tips: In the export options, choose "Full Page Slides" for one slide per page, or "Notes Pages" to include speaker notes. Select "High quality" under Options for the best output.

Method 3 — Google Slides (Free)

Upload your .pptx to Google Drive → Open with Slides → File → Download → PDF. Free and accessible anywhere. Some animations and custom fonts may not convert perfectly.

What Happens to Animations?

PDFs are static — animations, transitions, and video don't work in PDF. Each slide appears as its final state. If you use entrance animations to reveal content step by step, the PDF will show all content visible at once.
